After graduating from Leland High School, Matt accepted a scholarship to play at Mississippi Delta Community College where he led the NJCAA in saves with 15 in 1992. He then signed with Division II powerhouse Delta State University and was named to the All American team in 1995, after posting a school record 0.36 ERA, which still stands. He then spent the next 13 years in professional baseball with 7 different organizations, including 5 years in the Major Leagues with the Cleveland Indians and Colorado Rockies. Matt finished with a 2.72 career ERA in 100 games at the big league level. In November of 2015, Matt will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at Delta State University. Chancy is a Green County High School graduate and former All-State second baseman. He spent two years as a middle infielder at the college level, for Jones County Junior College, where he received several awards, including the Bobcat Award.
After college, Chancy began his coaching career at Green County High School as an assistant coach. With 13+ years of experience, he has coached players at all levels – youth, prep & college. Chancy joins the 59 staff after spending some time as the infield coordinator for the Missouri Prospects in St Louis. He provides one on one hitting and infield lessons along with various camps & clinics throughout the year. Collin Cargill is a 2006 graduate of Hattiesburg High School, where he lead his team to a 5A State Championship title win and was selected as 5A 1st Team All State and named 5A Player of the Year in the State of Mississippi. Collin continued his baseball career at the University of Southern Mississippi from 2007-2011, where he earned his degree in Business Administration. He holds the leading record for all time saves (30) in the Southern Miss ranks and was named 1st Team All- C-USA in 2009 & 2011 and 2nd Team All C-USA in 2010.  He was a Southern League (AA) All-Star selection in 2013, after being drafted in the 22nd round by the Miami Marlins in 2011.

Trey Sutton was drafted in the 20th round by the San Fransisco Giants in 2008, following his college career at the University of Southern Mississippi.  With a .353 overall career batting average over 4 seasons at Southern Miss, Trey still holds the record for career hits at 327 and singles (238). Trey ranks 2nd in at-bats (926), 2nd in runs scored (220), 5th in doubles (56), 5th in triples (10), 5th in total bases (472) and 8th in walks (104), on the USM record list.  
Trey was named Southern Miss Athlete of The Year in 2008, National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association All-American in 2007, Conference USA Co-Baseball Student Athlete of the Year in 2007, ESPN Academic All-American in 2007, All Conference USA in 2005-2007 and he was also named Louisville Slugger Freshman All American in 2005. 
Trey spent 2 years coaching at Forrest County Agricultural High School prior to accepting his current coaching position at Seminary High school, in 2015.
